In accordance with Guideline 6 issued by ÖIB (Austrian Institute of Construction Engineering), buildings are classified into efficiency categories by means of energy indicators. The ECO-BASEŠ projects fall into category A or B and hence meets the criteria of a low energy house. It consequently conforms with Raiffeisen evolutions strategy of implementing highly energy-efficient projects that contribute to the concept of sustainable living.
Building structure and thermal insulation.
The compact structure and excellent thermal insulation of an ECO-BASEŠ building complex ensures lower energy costs. Heated by conventional radiators, all windows and doors in the low energy building have highly insulating glazing and frames.
Air and life.
On average, we spend more than 90% of our lifetime indoors, therefore room climate and air quality exert a great influence upon our well-being. Bad air quality reduces our working capacity and may endanger our health. Future-oriented planning and the careful execution of construction work minimize air pollutants, such as solvents, heavy metals and biocides.
With its ECO-BASEŠ concept, Raiffeisen evolution takes over responsibility in terms of ecological engineering and guarantees the environmentally conscious management of materials and chemicals during the construction phase. Future residents will benefit from excellent indoor air quality. Raiffeisen evolution is a partner of klima.aktiv, an initiative of the Ministry of Life for active climate protection.
